Law boosts aquaculture in Delaware Bay
Changes to an outdated state law could open up new opportunities for shellfishermen in the Delaware Bay.
Gov. Jon S. Corzine’s signature is all that is required to create four new aquaculture development zones, where shellfishermen can raise various shellfish through aquaculture methods that have proven successful in other parts of the bay.
